AAHA Accreditation at Anchor Animal Hospital

More than 45 years of commitment to high-quality veterinary care

AAHA Accreditation at Anchor Animal Hospital

Anchor Animal Hospital has been accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association for over 45 years. This long-standing accreditation reflects our commitment to maintaining the highest standards in veterinary medicine and providing consistent, high-quality care for the pets in our community.

Only a small percentage of veterinary hospitals in the United States pursue AAHA accreditation. For us, it is not simply a designation. It is a standard we have chosen to uphold for decades as part of our responsibility to our patients, our team, and the community we serve.

2026 AAHA Practice of the Year Finalist

2026 AAHA Practice of the Year Finalist

We are proud to have been named a 2026 AAHA Practice of the Year Finalist, an honor recognizing outstanding AAHA-accredited veterinary practices and the teams behind them.

For Anchor, this recognition is especially meaningful because AAHA has been part of who we are for more than 45 years. Its standards have helped shape how we practice medicine, support and develop our team, serve our community, and continually look for ways to improve.

Being named a finalist reflects the work of generations of Anchor team members who have shared that commitment, as well as the trust of the clients and families who have allowed us to care for their pets throughout the years.

More Than 45 Years of AAHA Accreditation

For more than 50 years, Anchor Animal Hospital has been part of the South Coast community, and for more than 45 of those years, we have maintained AAHA accreditation.

AAHA accreditation isn't something a veterinary hospital earns once. Maintaining accreditation requires an ongoing commitment to rigorous standards, regular evaluation, and continuous improvement.

For us, those standards have become part of the fabric of Anchor. They provide a foundation for how we approach patient care while challenging us to continue learning, evolving, and finding better ways to serve our patients and their families.
